This kit replaces the original end brackets on the original Torquemaster garage door spring system and upgrades them to the current Torquemaster PLUS system.

Some time ago, Wayne Dalton stopped manufacturing the original Torquemaster garage door spring system and upgraded to the Torquemaster PLUS garage door spring system. Parts for the original Torquemaster system are no longer available. Consequently, when you have a part failure on an original Torquemaster garage door spring system, you will need to upgrade to the Torquemaster PLUS system. The primary differences between the original and the PLUS are the end spring support brackets and the spring hubs, the end that is threaded into the spring or springs depending on weather the door is a single or double spring system. This kit will provide you with the end spring support brackets and the spring ends. We do stock another kit that in addition to the parts in this kit also include a pair of new cable drums and also a pair of track flag brackets, use the above link to check out that kit, we have that for single and double spring set ups. We also sell all of the kit parts individually allowing you to pick and choose the specific part you need without having to purchase an entire kit.
