When replacing the belt, check both the front and rear pulleys for any sign of wear. Insure that the pulley is not loose or has worn at the mounting point. The pulley should not wobble. Look for burrs or any type of wear. Now is the time to replace if needed. Installing a new belt on worn or damaged pulleys will result in belt failure. If there is any question of pulley wear, replace the pulleys now.
