Using this kit allows you to convert the head plates on an original Torquemaster garage door system to the Torquemaster PLUS garage door system.
Wayne Dalton no longer makes the original Torquemaster system or any of the parts for the original system, you MUST convert to the Torquemaster PLUS system.
This is a basic kit, we also have a complete kit and we have individual parts. When using this kit, you re use the existing track flag brackets that the head plates are attached to. Some minor drilling is required. In the complete kit the track flag brackets are included and replaced when you do the conversion. Also in the complete kit is a new set of cable drums and spring ends. Bottom line is that if your original Torquemaster garage door has an issue with the spring system or the end plates – you must convert that garage door to the Torquemaster PLUS system.
